Swachh Bharat

A clean community is a dignified community.

Inspired by the Swachh Bharat Mission, Revathi Kamath works with communities across Karnataka to build cleanliness habits, improve sanitation infrastructure and create public spaces that every citizen can be proud of.

Public Cleanliness Drives

Organising community-led cleanliness drives at public spaces, markets, lake areas and residential localities. Every drive involves local citizens, students and volunteers working together.

Public Infrastructure

Advocating for and supporting the development of public hygiene infrastructure, clean drinking water points, public toilets and waste bins in community spaces.

Swachh Bharat. A nation's promise to itself.

The Swachh Bharat Mission launched in 2014 set out to eliminate open defecation and improve solid waste management across India. Revathi Kamath's work in Karnataka is a grassroots expression of this national commitment.

Real change happens not through policy alone but through communities taking ownership of their own spaces, their own hygiene, their own dignity.

"Cleanliness is next to godliness. A clean India is the best tribute we can pay to Mahatma Gandhi."
Prime Minister Narendra Modi
Revathi Kamath has carried this spirit into rural Karnataka, one community, one school, one public space at a time.
